Moonlight
If you haven’t heard about Moonlight, a new show on CBS I highly suggest you try it out. It’s not like most vampire shows. To me a lot of vampire shows are either dark or very weird like Buffy. Here is what the show is about:

Wild South Hike
Do you enjoy hiking but can’t seem to drag your spouse away from your Tivo? Well, Wild South is doing thier “Last-Saturday of the Month Hike” this Saturday into the Sipsey Wilderness. There seems to be 2 – 3 groups of twelve people going on guided hikes. Here is the general info:
General info: We meet at the Warrior Mountains Trading Company in Wren* at 9:00 a.m. We return to Wren by mid-afternoon. Since we hike to canyons, waterfalls and cascades, we usually cross streams and climb some pretty steep slopes. Be Prepared for slippery rocks and wet crossings. Appropriate footwear is most important. Wear comfortable hiking boots or sneakers with good tread. Wool socks can keep your feet happy even in summertime and especially when they get wet. Protect against ticks and chiggers with long pants and maybe insect repellent.
Sounds like fun to me…. I signed up because I haven’t been hiking in ages and would love to get out of the house for half a day and enjoy of wilderness.

Tivo Series3 $200 Rebate
Yes, another post about Tivo. I am enjoying my Tivo’s so much that I wanted to share a $200 rebate form I just found out about. That way, everyone else will know what I am talking about….
It is a $200 mail-in rebate on the TiVo Series3 – this is only the original Series3 and not the TiVo HD. Purchase the Series3 between September 16th, 2007 and January 26th, 2008. The rebate must be postmarked by March 26th, 2008. So the rebate kicks in TODAY!
With the Series3 available for $600, or less, from a few online retailers, that brings the cost down below $400, putting it about $100 more than the TiVo HD. That’s not a bad deal for what you get – 250GB instead of 160GB, the Glo remote, and the nicer design of the unit itself.
