I Cream
Scout loves ice cream. She pronounces it “I CREAM”. She has been carrying around the two fake ice creams cones that came with her kitchen since Christmas. While Ronda was out grocery shopping she picked up some Blue Bell Mini Country Cones which just happen to be the same size as her fake cones and…. well they say a picture is worth a thousand words…..
Recovered Photos
Like most of you whom have children, you take lots of pictures on Christmas morning while your children open up presents. I took several pictures of Scout opening her presents from Santa. Later that day I went to my computer to upload my images to the computer and then to flickr only to find out that they had been corrupted. At that very moment my world ended, I couldn’t believe that I lost all my Christmas pictures of Scout. I tried a couple of things and none of them worked. At this point I just assumed that they were lost for good and that I would only have my mental pictures.
Today I mentioned my lost to Miss Zoot and she said that she too had the same issue a few months ago. She said that several readers of her blog mentioned trying photo recovery software. She had used Media Recover and had success. So as soon as I got home today I tried the program and didn’t have the same success. The program said it found zero (0) images to recover. I was once again saddened. I did a Google search for more photo recovery programs and found another program called MAC Photo Recovery that got great reviews. I downloaded the trail and WOW, it found 213 images which included the images from Christmas morning.
So now thanks to photo recovery software I can share this image with you…..
Barbie Four Wheeler
Scout’s big gift from her grandparents this year was a Barbie four wheeler. I think she likes it……
Her baby on the other hand isn’t a big fan.
Scout’s Kitchen
So this year Santa has brought Scout a walk-in kitchen. We had Santa bring it early so that Ronda and I could assemble it before she wakes up on Christmas morning. Here is the finished product:

Back from NYC
Ok, I’m back and I know what you’re thinking…. I know I didn’t blog while I was in NYC and I know I didn’t upload any images while I was gone. There was just so much to do and so little time. This is really the first time I’ve sit down at the computer since my return. I just wanted to take a moment and say I’m back and that I will post later with a notes from NYC. In the mean time I’m getting ready for Christmas with the family. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.
