Scout & Friends

July 23, 2008 · Filed Under Scout · Comment

As a child I honestly don’t remember if I had a stuffed animal I went to sleep with or not. I’m sure I did, as I’m sure almost every child has a stuffed friend he or she brings to bed. Scout has what we like to call, “her friends”. Yes, not just one stuffed animal, but four. Here is a short video clip of Scout and Friends getting ready for to go to bed.

Bagel and Monkey

One of Bagel’s favorite toys is his monkey. When Bagel first came to live with us we took him shopping to kind of welcome him to our home. We got him all the necessary items and also let him pick out a few toys to take home. Check out this video of Bagel, Monkey, and co-starring Scout:

What’s The Odds?

July 13, 2008 · Filed Under Bagel, Scout · Comment

This evening it was just Scout, Bagel, and myself hanging out. Ronda and Penelope were off doing theatre things. Oh if you didn’t hear, Bagel is our new dog that we adopted from A New Leash on Life. Anyway, as we were hanging out two things happened. First, Scout decided to try and swallow a marble from the new marble kit I bought her today at Toys-r-us. This scared the crap out of both Scout and myself. I think she learned her lesson the hard way.

Second, our new dog decided to throw up not once, but twice right in the middle of the floor where Scout and I where playing.

So what’s the odds of both Scout chocking and the dog throwing up all on the same night? Pretty good I guess.

I Cream

Scout loves ice cream. She pronounces it “I CREAM”. She has been carrying around the two fake ice creams cones that came with her kitchen since Christmas. While Ronda was out grocery shopping she picked up some Blue Bell Mini Country Cones which just happen to be the same size as her fake cones and…. well they say a picture is worth a thousand words…..
