What does a cat say?
As Scout gets older she becomes more fun to play with each and every day. One game that the whole family enjoys playing with Scout is the animal game. The typical game goes like this:
Me: What does a snake say?
Scout: Shhhhhh….
Me: What does Miss Maudie say?
Scout: Ruff! Ruff!
Me: What does a cat say?
Scout: MEOW! (VERY LOUD)
The reason this is so funny is because Scout’s Great Grandmother who is in her late 70’s and is somewhat hard of hearing taught her what a cat says… So most animal sound very nice and quite while the cat sounds like a roaring tiger that’s coming in for the kill… 
Spilt Milk
So in the last two weeks or so Scout has started pouring out her milk on the coffee table, that’s the irritating part, the funny part is as soon as she pours out her milk she starts to clean up her mess. So for what ever reason she likes to play clean up with her spilled milk. Tonight, she started pouring her milk on herself as to give herself a milk bath. Is this a phase? Where did she pick this up from? Does your child or has you child went through this phase? Please comment and let me know.
Little People
I’ve been meaning to post about Scout’s new favorite toy, Little People. Over the weekend Ronda and I stopped into KB Toys in the mall and found a Little People Lil’ Movers school bus. I can’t recall a toy to date that Scout has enjoyed as much as she has her new Little People. She has enjoyed them so much that we had to pick her up three more Little People and a Little People Lil’ Movers SUV. If you haven’t introduced the Little People to your child yet, I would highly suggest you do.
One thing to note, both the school bus and SUV were very well packaged. I suggest that you unpack the Little People before you tell your child about his/her new toy. I made the mistake of showing Scout her new toy before I unpacked it and had the listen to her scream while I removed the twenty something twist ties they had holding the Little People into the bus and SUV.
Bath Crayons
We had a prize for Scout’s bath tonight, you guessed it, bath crayons. She loved them, we were able to catch some video of her coloring the bathroom her favorite colors, orange and blue (Auburn fan at heart). Oh, and if you just happen to speak baby, can you translate and let us know what she was saying.
